VMail works with Outlook and Explorer and consequently it would work with HotMail and YahooMail running in Explorer, also web browser and EMail client that use MicroSoft component to render HTML. Generally the great majority of EMail clients in use.
Practically, the great majority turned out to be about ten percent. Spam filters disables VMail and the 'great majority' gets deleted before the VMail has a chance to do its stuff. A staggering 0.4 percent visited the website as a consequence of receiving a VMail in my trial. Actually, this is a very high success rate but I'm giving away freebie CVMail instead of selling stuff. Conclusion, it impresses the recipient but the selling ultimately depends on the product.
EMail is a means of delivery, as a webpage in an EMail client, downloading a VMail from a website or it could be an EMail attachment, all gets the job done.
VMail is not necessarily static, it comes with a mailer that encodes information dynamically. The mailer/encoder creates a VBook which it can send as an EMail, attach it in an EMail or it could be downloaded from a website. The mailer/encoder is designed to be driven by a web server as well as operating as an independent mailer.
The dynamically encoded information depends on the design of the specific VMail, the mailer/encoder is specifically written for each individual VMail developed.
There is a free promotional VMail mailer/encoder, 'CVMail'. It is available for download, useful to see how it works in practice. Also useful if you know anyone looking for a job.
