Demo
|
The VMail Demo comes in three flavours, it is the same VMail that operates in different environment. Actually, this is just some old promotional literature I developed into a VMail, it is more EMail specific than the current focus. There are limits to what can be done with an EMail, VBook provides advantages in itself.
You will have to wait for a while for the demo to come up, they are not small.
Note: The VBook library is actually more advanced than the demo, when switching from the library to a VBook there is a download progress indicator and the browser won't 'stall' like when you are switching to 'War And Peace' in the VMail. The buttons and cover pictures in 'War And Peace' won't work in the demo either, a bit of a generation gap, for now.
You can always EMail me to send you a VMail Demo as an actual EMail.

This is a VBook, the HTML page is less than 2K in size. It is equivalent to a VMail sent without any embedded data and VMail data. The VBook itself is about 120K.

|
This is a VMail sent to HotMail (with the spam filter modification 'undisabled').
The size of the HTML is about 200K (VBook data embedded).

This is a VMail sent to Yahoo (with the spam filter modification 'undisabled').
The size of the HTML is about 210K (VBook data embedded).

There is also a VBook of a CVMail, an example of VMail as a piece of stationary

|
CVMail is a CV (job application variety) with different sections of a CV formatted as HTML pages, the size depends on the content of the CV. This VBook is about 4K in size.
CVMail is developed purely for promotional purpose, it is available for download, you can set it up and send yourself a CVMail.

VBook can actually be a book, 'War And Peace' is used as test data in VMails development. It is also accessible from within the VMail demo, a VMail can switch to other VBook(s).
'War And Peace' is about 1.2 MB in size, it will take many seconds even on a fast connection. There are many other VBooks in the library, the library is itself a VBook that switches to other VBooks.
The demos function the same way but they are physically different. The first and the last, 'VBook' and 'CVMail' are VBooks created by a VMail mailer/encoder. The second and third, 'HotMail' and 'YahooMail' are actual VMail sent, the VBook data is embedded within the HTML itself. The VBooks in the library are just VBooks built independently of VMail, they can operate independently but the data is accessible from a VMail.
