About
VMail 'Website In An EMail' was originally meant to be 'VideoMail'. The idea is to embed a video clip in an EMail, a video clip is expected to attract the attention effectively. With the number of ADSL/cable modem users on the rise, this is a practical solution.
'VideoMail' never seen the light of day, 'Website In An EMail' is far superior and even the video clip in the original VMail demo is dropped.
Video clip attracts the attention but ultimately the focus switched to 'what is useful'.
Very simple, if you have a something people want, you are in business.
VMail doesn't have an official website, this website is about VMail in action. If VMail is any good at web promotion, it would be successful in promoting itself. The test of the pudding.
The test is simple, I produce loads of books, VBooks:
The VBooks is better than a single long text file, people have problem finding where are at in a book.
Books are frequently provided as a whole directory of files, there is only one data file per VBook so the reader don't have to juggle loads of files and loads of books can be put into a single directory.
There is also the additional features of being able to change the font size, colour and multiple books in a series can be combined into a single volume.
If the VBook is any good it gets downloaded and read.
